Summary[]
Steve and Claudia have broken down and spent the night in the car. Sonia has a party. Nicky has a terrible stomach-ache. Steve stares at the woman whom Claudia thinks is Saskia.

Claudia's car breaks down leaving her and Steve stranded for hours - their nerves are frayed. Matthew is mad with worry and calls Steve on his mobile. Steve tries to calm him down. Claudia gives Steve a hard time about Saskia and questions him about her last movements. Steve sticks by his story that she was looking forward to moving away for a life in the north. Waiting to see the amnesiac, Steve and Claudia share a softer moment and she thanks him for accompanying her. A policeman calls to tell Lilly that they have caught Gareth. Lilly is not impressed - there are still many more muggers out there and she hopes Gareth hangs! Lilly calls the police after Dot is late after coming back from the cinema. Preparations are underway for Sonia's party. There is even gossip of rum punch. Sonia asks Jamie and to her delight he says yes. Sonia's party is well underway. Martin tucks in to rum flavoured punch. Nicky learns that Jamie doesn't fancy Sonia. Nicky is suddenly struck down by sickness. Sonia goes to her aid and runs to get Rosa. Barry is still refusing to speak to Sue and even hides behind the counter when she visits the video store. Barry pleads with Sue to dump him but she doesn't get the hint and says that she's going to give him another chance. Barry defends Natalie after Sue comments that she is 'dark and devious'. She guesses that he feels more for Natalie than he's willing to admit and in anger pours his pint over him. Claudia and Steve are shown into the patients' room where the amnesiac is facing away from them looking through a window. Both are shocked to see that she strongly resembles her from behind. |
