Summary[]

Pat tells Wicksy to stop selling his dodgy CDs. Ian lends Ali and Mehmet more money - again at a premium. Rod attempts to talk to Donna about her drug problems.

Pauline invites Sharon over to her house for Christmas Day as a way to get Michelle to be with her family.

Ali and Mehmet get themselves into gambling debts with the wine bar.

Pat is expecting Cindy over for afternoon tea - she is surprised when Simon tells her that he has not invited her over because he thought she was joking. Pat tells Simon to go and invite Cindy as she wants to see her.

Colin agrees to meet Guido at the Vic in the evening.

Ali and Mehmet ask Ian for a loan so they can pay off their debts. Ian adds interest onto their loan.

Simon tries to sell the CDs he has to Rod.

Pete is back in the Vic drinking again. Pauline tries to get him to stop and focus on his stall, but he is not interested.

Ian asks Michelle and Sharon to work for him on Christmas Day - they agree to.

Den meets with Miss Martin to try and get more money off of her, but he is unsuccessful.

Cindy arrives for afternoon tea with Pat.

Donna offers to be DI Ashley's scout. He turns down her offer.

A drunken Pete gets back to work on the stall.

Pat tries to make Cindy see sense over Simon and get her to marry him. Cindy tells her she wants her independence.

Michelle realises that she has no childcare for Vicki on Christmas Day, nor will she spend it with her if she is working.

Colin meets Guido at the Vic. Guido tells Colin he has split up with his boyfriend and needs somewhere to live. Colin lets him move into his flat.

DI Ashley talks to Rod about The Firm. Rod goes to see Joanne and tells her that DI Ashley is a bright detective who wants to see the wine bar done out of business and The Firm caught, and he would not be surprised if he got what he wanted.
