Summary[]
Residents start to gossip about Cindy and Ian's reunion. Arthur desperately tries to get hold of Mrs Hewitt but she does not answer his phone call. Clyde wants a cabbing job with Frank, but there is one problem - he does not have a car.
Dot tells Pat that Cindy is back. Pat heads straight over to Ian's flat and demands to know where Simon is and what has been going on. Ian stops Pat from seeing Cindy, telling her that Cindy will come out when she is ready. Marcus Christie returns to act as Grant's brief. Phil asks Sharon if she is attending Grant's bail hearing. Nigel learns that Michelle is looking for two new lodgers, and he wants one of the rooms. Michelle tells him she is preferably looking for two female occupants, but this does not dissuade him from continuously asking. Pat assumes Cindy is to blame for Simon no longer being around. Marcus is confident that Grant will get an ABH charge, but if the police officer's injuries are worse than originally thought, then he could go down for GBH. Frank offers Clyde the deal of buying a car in return for a job. Kathy is furious to hear of Cindy's return, while Dot cannot help but tell locals about Cindy, grating Pat. Arthur heads to Mrs Hewitt's house to see her. A neighbour tells him that she is away for a few days. Michelle admits to Sharon it was her who phoned the police on Grant. Sharon is not angry, admitting she would have done the same if it was her in the situation. Pat learns that Simon walked out on Cindy months ago. Phil visits Grant and upon returning tells Sharon that he wants to see her. Arthur buys Pauline flowers. Hattie is determined to stay on Ian's good side to get the promotion she wants. Ian encourages Cindy to have a drink with him at the Vic. The Vic falls silent when she enters, while Kathy feels the need to give her a talking to. Ian gives the pair a moment alone and Cindy tells Kathy she is not frightened of her, as Ian chose to find her again. Kathy feels threatened when Cindy tells her that if Ian had to choose one of them, it would be her. |
