Summary[]

As the Square's residents reel from the previous night's events, Libby and Chelsea's differences threaten to tear their family apart. Meanwhile, Phil and Peggy pay Ben a visit.

Reporters pester Denise and the family as they struggle to come to terms with what Lucas has done. At the hospital, Jordan’s quiet and Chelsea and Libby start to argue. Later, Zainab finds Denise packing – she’s going home, her family need her. Lucas writes ‘sorry’ in blood on his cell wall. He hands a prison warder the bible from his cell – he’s not going to need it. As his cell door slams, Lucas quietly says ‘Amen’.

When Roxy admits she hates Archie and all reminders of him, Pat tells her she has options. Phil and Peggy visit Ben. Phil wants Louise to come with them, but Peggy leaves her with Shirley. Peggy notices Cal smirking at her across the visiting room. Ben appears covered in cuts and bruises. Peggy makes a fuss and accuses Cal of having hurt Ben, Cal threatens her and Phil stands up for his mother. As Phil turns his back on Cal, Cal punches him. Ben leaves, telling Phil not to visit again. Peggy decides to move the whole family back into the Vic, but when she gets home there’s a for sale sign outside the pub.

Max encourages Stacey to take Lily for a walk. A nervous Stacey tentatively sets off with the pram. Initially, Fat Boy’s unimpressed when Dot insists he wait in for the glazier, but he enjoys a day spent playing dominoes with Jim. Liz decides to tell Libby that she’s burying Owen the next day and admits to Dot she’s decided to go back to Spain.

Jodie and Darren discuss what they can and can’t do sexually. Darren’s optimistic – but gets overexcited when a scantily clad Jodie massages sun cream into his legs, and rushes home to book an appointment to discuss having a ‘strim’.
