Summary[]
As Martin has an operation in hospital, Dot reconsiders about moving with Nick, Zoe and Ashley. Meanwhile, Ricky is suspicious of Mandy.
Martin is taken straight into the operating theatre. Arthur and Pauline worry as they reminisce about old times with Mark and Michelle. Christine takes another day off work at the café, letting Kathy down again, as her mind overthinks about Arthur, making her cry. Pauline admits to Arthur that she considered leaving him a few times, but always decided against it, because of how long they have been married. Ricky spends the night in his campervan to give Frank and Pat space. He spots Mandy getting money off a client on Turpin Road and tells Pat. Dot has second thoughts about staying in Albert Square and decides to take Zoe up on the offer of moving to Gravesend in Kent after all. Martin's operation is a success and he recovers with Pauline and Arthur by his bedside. Nick is not happy Dot is moving with them to Gravesend. Grant and Sharon throw a leaving party for Dot. Ethel shows up for the occasion, but she has hurt herself - she admits she fell down the stairs whilst drunk at the retirement home. Frank, Kathy, Pat and Sharon all decide to go to France for a day trip. Pat confronts Mandy over what Ricky saw, but she claims it is an old friend of her mum's who is helping her out. Dot heads to see Nigel back at Number 25. He worries where he is going to live with her gone, and tells her he hopes she had made the right decision. |
