Summary[]

Al confronts an unwelcome visitor. Ian desperately struggles to save his relationship with Jane. Stacey finally confides in someone she trusts.

Sean has some unfinished business with his old army colleague Al.


Ian pleads with Jane not to leave him.


Pat hears a noise and prepares to confront an intruder. She finds Jane in an emotional state. Jane rages about Ian's deception. When Pat mentions Jane's fling with Grant, Jane takes offence and asks her to leave.


Al listens nervously as Sean fills him in on his life after the army. He explains that he hit an officer and was discharged. Al's shocked when Sean reveals that he visited Al's family to learn of his old friend's whereabouts. Sean admires Al's Queen's Gallantry Medal. He mentions that he has a war souvenir too. He shows Al his war wound - a scar from a bullet that just missed his heart.


Dawn's in a hurry to leave after Jane's surprise appearance. Ian berates her for flirting with Rob. Dawn doesn't care any more, she's had enough of pretending to be Ian's wife. Ian refuses to pay her credit card bill.


Al swears that he didn't shoot Sean on purpose. Sean doesn't believe a word of it. He warns Al that army rules don't apply any more. He's bitter that Al got a medal, while he's broke and homeless. Al accuses Sean of betraying him over a woman. He hints that Sean deserved to be shot. Sean explains why he never pointed the finger of blame at Al. He wanted to exact revenge on his own terms. Al glances at a hammer that he keeps for protection. Sean taunts him to finish the job and bash his head in. Sean notes Al's shaky hands and sneers at him. He headbutts Al and ties him up.


Jane packs her bags and stares into the mirror. Ian arrives home late, relieved that she hasn't left him. She shoots him a warning look - there's still time.


Rob accuses Dawn of carrying out identity fraud. She's upfront about the deception. She points out that he's not innocent. He thought that she was married when he was flirting with her.


Sean drives Al to a remote spot and hangs him upside down. He claims that he never slept with Al's girlfriend. He wouldn't do that to a mate. Sean warns Al that he's never to return to Walford, or he'll hang him for real.


Jane accuses Ian of fancying Dawn. He insists that he doesn't, but Jane's hurt that he chose someone younger and prettier than her. Ian explains that Dawn did it for the money. Jane's outraged. Ian assures Jane that he wasn't having an affair. Jane feels guilty at the mention of cheating. She has to hold herself back from making a confession. Ian knows that he's been neglecting Jane, and fears that they've drifted apart. He begs her forgiveness and promises that he loves her. Jane assures him that she won't leave.


Rob offers to pay off Dawn's credit card debts. She's surprised that he doesn't want to report her to the police. Rob thinks that she's fun and wants to see her again. Dawn's delighted at this turn of events.


Stacey wonders where Sean's been all night. He makes up a story about needing space to think. Stacey shows him the only picture of them with their mum and dad. She hopes that he isn't going to disappear again. Stacey's elated that Sean's going to stay around. He shows her Al's medal and claims that it's his. Stacey thinks that he's a hero. She confesses that she's pregnant. Sean's shocked but promises to look after her.
