Summary[]
An intimidated Tamwar is grilled by Afia's father, but there is more to Yusef's story than Tamwar knows. Meanwhile, Bianca is stunned to find Carol under an unexpected influence.

Ian tells Peter he wants to buy the Argee Bhajee and is keeping it secret from Jane. Peter urges Ian to tell Jane. Jane overhears Peter and realises that Ian is lying to her again. Denise is convinced that the ‘secret bid’ concerns bidding on Jane in the Charity Auction at the Vic. Ian attempts to bribe the Argee Bhajee estate agent to find out the Masoods’ bid, but it’s a sealed auction. Jane learns from Peter that he and Ian weren’t discussing the Promise Bid. Ian breaks in to the Masoods’ to find the sealed envelope containing their Argee Bhajee bid, but is interrupted by Tamwar and Zainab arriving home and hides under the stairs. Bianca, Whitney, Glenda, Denise and Jane arrive at the Masoods’ to get ready for the Charity Auction. Jane tearfully confesses to the girls that she’s leaving Ian. Horrified, Ian overhears. Tamwar is nervous about meeting Afia’s father for dinner, but impresses him when he tells him how amazing Afia is. When Tamwar mentions his mother, Afia’s father clearly recognizes the name Masood.. Carol finds a bag of marijuana in the flat and blames Connor, but later learns that the drugs are Glenda’s. Bianca is worried about Carol, and arrives at the flat to find Carol is stoned. Bianca blames Connor’s influence. Alfie is holding a Charity Auction in the Vic tonight. Kat receives a call from Stacey, and warns Alfie not to mention it to Ryan. Alfie tells Ryan that Kat knows where Stacey is. Phil, Shirley, Billy and Jay move into No. 55. Glenda reveals to Phil it was Billy who told her they took Roxy’s money. Phil threatens to throw Billy out until Billy reminds him that he saved his life a few months ago. Phil feels guilty and allows Billy to stay. |
