Summary[]
Hattie and Jules head to Norwich to spend Christmas with Celestine and Etta. Tricky Dicky buys the squat and then tells Aidan and Mandy to get out. Phil insists that Nadia has misunderstood him when Kathy tells him what she said to her.
Arrangements start to be made over Pete's funeral. Nigel and Ricky go into competition with each other to see who can sell the most glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs and musical knickers. Mandy tells Aidan to pull himself together when he starts to feel low over them losing the squat. Grant books Johnny 'T-Bone' Wilson, a country and western singer, in for a gig at the Vic. Arthur is determined for Pete's funeral to go like clockwork. Pat wonders if Michelle and Sanjay are seeing each other. Bianca and Ricky get talking. Robbie steals more alcohol from the Vic and then makes little sister Sonia have some. Mark confronts Tricky Dicky over kicking Aidan and Mandy out of the squat. Mandy takes Aidan to the top of a tower block to admire the view of London. Aidan feels depressed and tells her he feels like throwing himself off - she does not take his remark seriously. Carol is horrified when she finds an ill Billie and Sonia at the launderette. She notices the alcohol on top of one of the washing machines and is disgraced. Frank advises Ricky to steer clear of Bianca, as Pat has something against the Jackson family. Kathy is willing to forgive Phil. They head to The Vic for a drink. Tricky Dicky pulls Aidan aside and gives him a nasty warning. Meena and Jerry get back together. Bianca and Ricky flirt as he tries to sell her musical knickers. Their moment together is interrupted by Carol, who is determined to get the bottom of who gave alcohol to Billie and Sonia. Nadia phones Grant from the flat to get Phil to go and see her. Mark feels ill so heads to the hospital to get checked over. He is kept in overnight. Mandy goes looking for him, and when she cannot find him, she heads to the hospital. Phil realises Nadia is trying to intervene in his relationship with Kathy and heads back to the Vic, leaving her on her own. Mandy tells Mark she knows why he is being kept in hospital - he has HIV. |
