Summary[]
Paul's spent the night in the cells as Yolande reckons that Paul's drunken, irresponsible lifestyle is setting a bad example for Katie. Meanwhile, Sam withdraws a large amount of money and hides it from Andy. Den nearly catches Dennis and Sharon in a passionate embrace.

Paul's questioned by the police. He feigns indifference to the charges he faces. Patrick and Yolande try to hide their concerns about Paul's strange behaviour in front of Katie but, when Patrick takes delivery of a new car for Paul, it causes a stir around the Square - people want to know where he has got the money from. Andy's annoyed by Paul advertising his new-found wealth. Two senior drugs squad officers take over and Paul's cocky manner soon disappears when they ask if he knows Andy and Mr Corley. Paul's forced to admit that he knows them. The police urge Paul to give them information about Andy. He retorts that he might as well sign his own death warrant. Den reckons that he's in with a chance of regaining his old pub. It seems to him that Sam's selling off the Mitchell empire. When Sam hands over the cash from the sale of the Arches to Marcus, he wants to know where the money from the Vic is. Sam realises that if she sells the pub, Phil will have nothing left to come back to. Paul is given an ultimatum which he sees as a no-win situation. Elsewhere, Dennis and Sharon have a close shave when Den nearly catches them together. |
