- 1st - Ronnie Mitchell and Charlie Cotton get married, however, her waters break at the ceremony and they rush into a car. Unbeknown to them, Nick Cotton had tampered with the breaks causing Roxy Mitchell to have a devastating crash (involving running over DC Emma Summerhayes). Ronnie also gives birth to baby Matthew Mitchell-Cotton before being put in a medically induced coma.
- 2nd - DC Emma Summerhayes dies of a bleed to the brain after she was run over and Dexter Hartman leaves
February[]
- 13th - Nick Cotton dies following a drug overdose
- 17th - Peggy Mitchell and Christian Clarke return and Vincent Hubbard makes his first appearance as EastEnders Live Week commences
- 18th - Tanya Cross returns
- 19th - An hour long episode with live segments airs, with a shocking twist appearing to out Jane Beale as Lucy Beale's killer on the night of Ian and Jane's wedding. Kathy Sullivan made a shock return, 9 years after she was thought to have died. Kim Fox-Hubbard gives birth to a baby girl in The Queen Vic Toilets - she names her Pearl.
- 19th - A second episode was shown featuring a flashback to Good Friday 2014, explaining that Lucy's youngest brother, Bobby Beale, was her killer - although he isn't aware he killed her - and that Jane covered up the murder
- 20th - A fully live episode airs explaining what happened with Bobby and Lucy on that fateful night.
- 24th - Lauren Branning leaves with Peter Beale
