Lenny questions Matthew's innocence and Bianca tries to hide her feelings for Dan.

There is widespread shock on the Square as news spreads that Matthew and Steve have been charged. Rosa forbids Teresa to see Matthew. Teresa tells her that she lied about her pregnancy. Gianni and Beppe collude to thwart Teresa's plans. Teresa returns, angered that visiting hours had finished before she'd arrived. She puts the blame on Gianni. Bianca avoids Carol as Dan moves his stuff in. The enormity of this development has hit home. Carol implores Bianca to move in. Bianca hides her reluctance. Bianca's curiosity eats her up and when Carol invites her to see the new house, she begrudgingly agrees. Terry is full of himself - his agent has fixed up another gig. Irene fails to mask her disinterest. Irene becomes increasingly obsessed with new age therapy. Sarah begins to despair. Grant can't mask his delight at Steve's arrest. He plans to wrest the health club from his control. Grant and Phil eye the vacant E20 and wonder what will become of it now that Steve's banged up. Bianca is uneasy as she visits the new house. She exits when Dan enters. Dan tracks her down, desperate to broker a truce. He warns her not to spill the beans. Carol and Dan toast their new home, egged on by Ricky, Robbie, Sonia and an uneasy Bianca. As the Jacksons' leave, Bianca throws herself at a delighted Ricky. Her anxious expression suggests something other than love. |
