Summary[]
Mark does not return home from the party the night before. Clyde appears at Number 45 to see Michelle. Pete enjoys Jason's company up until his father comes and collects him.

Ricky gets rid of the party guests from the B&B so that he and Diane can tidy it before Frank and Pat return. Mark visits Arthur at the allotments. Arthur tells him he knows something is playing on his mind and he should tell someone. Kathy encourages Pete to phone social services over Jason. Eddie is unimpressed by Kathy's failure to show up the previous night for their evening out. Kathy claims she forgot. Mark takes his blood-stained t-shirt off and washes it by hand. Dot supports Disa as she looks after her daughter. Diane visits Mark and wants to go on a motorbike ride with him. He drives her to a field and they talk. Dot notices a man keeping an eye on the flat that Disa is staying it. She talks to him and he gives her money to give to Disa. Frank tells Disa she can stay in the flat longer as Mo is not returning anytime soon. Diane and Mark return to the Square. Mark heads into the B&B and sits Diane down. He tells her they cannot see each other anymore, leaving her irritated. She asks him why and he tells her he has AIDS. She wonders if there is a cure but he tells her there is not. Michelle realises her and Clyde have misinterpreted each other's affections. Clyde tells her that he likes her. Diane tells Mark she does not want to stop seeing him because he has AIDS. He clarifies he is not gay and got it from a woman. She hugs him and agrees to stand by him, adamant she wants to continue seeing him. |
