I would like to apply for moderator so I can help out on this wiki. I watch lots of EE I know more than most. I could help tidy up, add extra information and make new character pages. I have made roughly 500-600 edits to this wiki. I have added lots of images and edited a lots mistakes or incorrect info. I have made new pages (2 I think). I would love to help on locked pages (e.g: Episode, Current characters and other years). I can help with spellings and categories

Dear all,

As I'm sure you are aware, crew pages are currently very inconsistent. I understand that @Robbief006 currently is overseeing a project for actor pages, which does coincide with this, however crew also refers to directors, producers, writers, etc.

I have seen many pages with no images, some using character templates, and some with 5+ images of crew. Due to the inconsistencies of these, I have created a template specificially for crew members, whose infoboxes can be seen on the mentioned page, but for a whole page view, you can view this.

This template is dynamic and can accommodate for all different types of roles within the crew department. Similarly, it only includes key information necessary for these infoboxes, ensuring that these are not including unnecessary information.

Dear Admins / Moderators,

I have recently found a Fandom feature which would be beneficial in encouraging users to edit and contribute to the wiki. This is a Fandom built-in feature called 'Achievements', which credits users for completing certain tasks for the wiki.

The 'tasks' required for badges are predetermined and cannot be changed/added, meaning custom ones cannot be created, however this is still a great way to engage editing from users.

When badges are obtained, these are displayed on the sidebar of an editor's user page, whilst also being present on the leaderboard, which ranks users according to how many badge points have been achieved. An example of this is the CBBC wiki, where my userpage contains 2 badges, which is also visible on the leaderboard.

Hi Admins/Mods,

First of all, apologies for so many tags recently! Secondly, I would officially like to present myself forward for the position of Moderator. I understand that Robbie currently has this role, but as far as I am aware, there is no limit to having only 1 moderator.

I see myself as a worthy candidate for the role due to my dedication and commitment to the wiki - in 2 years I have amassed 5k+ edits. Similarly, I have helped to shape the wiki for the future, taking part in projects such as Character Gallery Pages and Family Trees. Currently, I am contributing to 2 projects; one seeing the implementation of my new Infobox template, and the second sees me assess the quality of bioographies in order to improve them.

I believe that I have proved my worthiness of this role since I started as an editor, and have consistently been praised for my high-quality and constructive edits. As someone who is incredibly familiar with HTML, CSS and JS (used for Templates and Source Editing), I think it would be incredibly useful to add me to this team.

I would like to present myself forward for the position of moderator. I have contributed massively to the wiki, with 4,000+ edits in less than a year. I have had close communications with admins, so am very familiar with the expectations and requirements of this role.

I have been part of the EastEnders Wiki Discord for a similar time, and have become a familiar and well-respected member of this community, with many editors coming to me for advice and help.

Similarly, I am consistently online on both the Wiki and Discord, meaning I can be contacted at any time - by anyone. I am approachable and compassionate, and can help new editors with learning the regulations and rules of the wiki. I have been part of a few projects on the wiki, and even started some myself such as my ongoing project of updating character opening paragraphs to make them consistent for each page.

Good evening to those who read my messages preferable administrators on Eastenders wiki

I would like to submit my request to become president of Eastenders wiki with administrators.

My reasonings for this being I am a long term viewer of the BBC bar of soap Eastenders and have been regularly watching since 2010 with Bradley Branning slipping of Queen Vicktoria roof being a memory and a reason to start watching Eastenders religiously.

I watched on and off between the 90s and before 2010 as well so I am very nolegable about the bar of soap.

I am belive i wood be a great president of administrators on Eastenders wiki for listed reasons in text above.

And I would be avalable on a regular basis to answer the discussion page on Eastenders wiki.

(I’m not sure if this chat is used anymore but might as well try)

Recently, I have been thinking that I may suit a Moderator or Admin role on this Wiki after some time being here. I’ll explain.

I have been active on EastEnders Wiki for almost 2 years and have contributed a large number of edits, both small fixes and also larger-scale edits such as character biographies and storyline pages.

I am also quite sharp on noticing vandalism and wrong edits, which I am fast at correcting but sometimes these can be overstepped by editors and occasionally they will not accept my corrections, with a higher position I feel I would have a wider ability to tackle vandalism and these type of situations.

Additionally, I am very active on the Wiki Discord most days and would personally say I have a positive bond with all members, including admins and even those not on this wiki - and I feel I have earned myself a good name (without sounding like I’m bragging 😂). I understand that respect and communication is a fundamental element in a role like this and believe I have already embodied this already.

I have proven in the past that I have the capabilities to take on and manage projects, both solo and with others collaboratively. I am aware there are many tasks that need completing on this wiki and I would definitely be able to handle these where needed. On a side note, I am also interested in increasing my skills in technology and computing etc… so I believe that this would be a good start for me.

To conclude, I fully understand if there are currently no positions or considerations for new mods/admins at the moment, but would like you to know that if you are looking, I would be happy to take on a role. 🙂

There is a user called Letrnumber8 who has been adding Lucy Beale and Jane Beale to 2008 episodes even though they don't appear.

I am not sure if they are doing it deliberately to mess things up?

I edited the credits of the last 2 episodes and I was told it was admins that had to do it and I apologise if I have caused any disruptions.

I was wondering if there were any spaces for admins or a moderator as I have a great knowledge of EastEnders, it's been a part of my life for a while now and and would be up for the role.

Hi all. Since moderator spots are open I have decided to apply as one.

One reason I would like to be a moderator is to easily be able to stop vandalism as I would be able to rollback edits and also temporarily protect pages if it needs to be done. Being a moderator would allow me to help out even more with tools like this.

I am also very active and edit most days, and try to make as many good edits as possible. I am working on a number or projects such as the 'list of appearances' pages for characters.

I was wondering what you all thought about the below ideas. I was thinking about this as it was recently pointed out that EEArchive is no longer active as of 2021.

Do you think it would be a good idea if we promote all Moderators to Admins as they have a been looking after the site for a long time?

Additionally should we keep the Moderator role open for new users who want to help maintain the site?

This is assuming Moderators want to be Admin, it's entirely your choice.

Hello, I was wondering if admin/moderator spots are open, If selected as an admin I would be able to do extra work on Character pages (Biography's, Spelling check, and categories) while the other admins are concentrating on the episode seciton, I will also be able to help with other projects as I'm quite adaptable, i have recently been doing graphs for houses which have been a well received addition. I am also very active and edit every night, I have watched EastEnders for 15 years and I know what I'm talking about, I have also created 30 pages for the wiki and I know what the admins want.

Another reason I'd be a good fit is because I also get on quite well with the fellow editors and the Admins/Moderators, and I am extremely invested in the Wiki and i am intending to stick around for the foreseeable future and i will also not tolerate any Vandalism as i have proved in the past when notifying the admins about people Vandalising, i also receive emails if users edit pages which i check frequently and if pages are vandalised or wrong information is added i will revert the edit.

Are admin requests open? I’ve been editing on here for a while now, and watch eastenders every night, so I’ll be able to edit pages I otherwise cannot (such as the list of current characters) if anything changes, I also fact check my additions to pages, and rewatch scenes when I add information

If admin spots aren’t open at the Minute or you don’t think I’m capable or deserving of admin yet, I completely understand, I’ll always respect the admins wishes

I would love to be an admin on this wikia because i've literally been helping this wikia for 5 years because of my eastenders obsession. Also, i will be bale to block people who vandalise and change any changes that are not necessary. I will be available due to covid 19

I am looking to see if I can get admin access to this wiki page. I have been contributing to this wiki site for a couple of years now updating the episodes with full credits, screenshots and synopsis.

I am looking to continue doing this as there are still a couple of years where the credits still need editing and am ending so the credits are correct and in the right order on how they appeared in the episode.
