I have recently taken a browse through the character biography spreadsheet, which is linked to the ranking tabs on infoboxes.

I have noticed that it states that Cindy's page needs improving as she has no employment history from 1992-1993, and 1997-1998. This is wrong. Cindy was unemployed in these years, it is not an inconsistency on my behalf but instead following the show and scenes evidently showing she was not working anywhere until Beale's Plaice in 1994.

The biography section also says 1992-1997 improvements are needed. This is also wrong. Her biography is incomplete from 1996-1997 now, which is of course a work in progress as seen through my recent edits.

Please can I request that whoever manages, or can access this spreadsheet, can update this to be factually correct, which can improve the percentage of completion for Cindy.

Hello all,

I have recently noticed that the formatting has changed to state Okie’s first appearance on his Infobox.

It is now formatted as “9 July 2025 (1)” in his infobox over “9 July 2025 - Part 1” as still seen in his List of Appearances.

Is this a new change that has been approved to be added on infoboxes going forwards? I haven’t seen it on other pages, only this one. If it has been approved, no problem.

Hello all,

I have recently been looking into the character biographies and have noticed something that could come across as slightly confusing to readers. There is a rule which states that each section of the biography should be split across 5 years, then start a new one and so on… however, when a character has numerous stints within a 5 year period, it can make it look a bit inconsistent and confusing,

Cindy Beale is an example for this. Her stints are 1988-1990, 1992-1998, 2023-. Whereas her biography was split into 1988-1993, 1994-1998, 2023-.

Please take a look at the recent edit I made to the headings. I feel that it would make more sense if we stuck to the 5 year rule, but only within one stint. So therefore, each stint would require a new section. Usually a new stint means a whole new storyline for the character, and would work well with being split up from their past stint to avoid confusion. Breaks would be excluded from this.

For Cindy, I have suggested 1988-1990, 1992-1997, 1998, 2023-. There are other character biographies which would benefit from this change.

I hope you can understand where I am coming from, and that it may avoid confusion amongst readers. I understand the 5 year rule was only put into place recently, but I think this adjustment would be really beneficial for the project.

Hello, this is mostly a message for admins,

How come on the 'Longest gaps between appearances' page it goes up to 57? I feel this is a bit of a random number, and in lists like 'Top --' it'd usually be like Top 10, Top 50, or Top 100 etc...

Just a bit of a weirdly inconsistent thing that concerns me 😂 I know it wouldn't be high on the list of priorities but could we get this to a better number like 60 or something please, or 50 as Top 50 Lists are quite common.

(I’m not sure if this chat is used anymore but might as well try)

Recently, I have been thinking that I may suit a Moderator or Admin role on this Wiki after some time being here. I’ll explain.

I have been active on EastEnders Wiki for almost 2 years and have contributed a large number of edits, both small fixes and also larger-scale edits such as character biographies and storyline pages.

I am also quite sharp on noticing vandalism and wrong edits, which I am fast at correcting but sometimes these can be overstepped by editors and occasionally they will not accept my corrections, with a higher position I feel I would have a wider ability to tackle vandalism and these type of situations.

Additionally, I am very active on the Wiki Discord most days and would personally say I have a positive bond with all members, including admins and even those not on this wiki - and I feel I have earned myself a good name (without sounding like I’m bragging 😂). I understand that respect and communication is a fundamental element in a role like this and believe I have already embodied this already.

I have proven in the past that I have the capabilities to take on and manage projects, both solo and with others collaboratively. I am aware there are many tasks that need completing on this wiki and I would definitely be able to handle these where needed. On a side note, I am also interested in increasing my skills in technology and computing etc… so I believe that this would be a good start for me.

To conclude, I fully understand if there are currently no positions or considerations for new mods/admins at the moment, but would like you to know that if you are looking, I would be happy to take on a role. 🙂

Hi all

Just a reminder to not post or update content relevant to an episode before it releases on 7:30pm on TV. I’ve noticed this with Kathy and Rocky, Kathy had been changed to a Cotton and Rocky had Kathy as his wife under his ‘Relationships/Known Relatives’ Section. This hasn’t aired on TV yet so this can spoil it for viewers who choose not to or cannot watch the early release at 6am an iPlayer - which is something we want to avoid.

A few weeks ago, I also noticed Lola’s death date had been updated 5 days before the episode actually aired on TV.

Is there anywhere on this wiki where I would be able to see what content can and cannot be shared on this wiki (like submitting information about a character)? Sort of like a set of rules on submitting content in a way?
