I disagree with the bit about Martin and Stacey. Martin does like the Slaters, he just didn't want them all in his house, which is understandable. He saved Kat from Phil remember so he does like them. Also i think Martin and Stacey are great together. Think about how Martin talked her off the roof and how he dealt with her postpartum psychosis. He loves her and she loves him. I think Ruby is a terrible friend. First she gets with one of Stacey's ex-lovers and then gets with her husband after all that Stacey did for Ruby, helping with the rape. Martin and Ruby are so gross and don't work. They make me cringe. Stacey really needs to let Martin explain why he said what he said because he was only trying to protect her and the kids. Hopefully they get back together and stay together because they could be the only solid couple, other than Mick and Linda.

I totally agree with Martin as he is such a good dad to them and Kush was only bothered about Arthur when it suited him and plus his and lily's last names are Fowler so they are Fowler's by heart. And once again more child characters being forgotten about as well as Hope

Yeah we definitely need more characters back that would have great potential, like Penny, and also Stacey needs Martin, lets be honest. They work so well as a couple, apart from the night she had with Max, and when they split up in 2018 she was all over the place and clearly unhappy. She loves Martin and he loves her. He even admitted it to Sonia when they were on a 'date'. I have always hated Martin and Sonia together and i think Martin and Stacey suit each other a lot more. I always feel like Sonia is too old for Martin even though they are the same age haha.
I really hope the writers don't just put Stacey with Max just because Ruby and Martin slept together. I feel like Max and Stacey are too toxic. I hope they do put Martin and Stacey back together but build it up slowly so they start off as friends and then slowly go on dates and get back together because otherwise they will just break up again.
It really annoys me how the writers always split Martin and Stacey up because they are a great couple and honestly Ruby and Martin are horrible together. They are so cringey and just don't work together and if they do end up together, Martin will want to settle down but Ruby will use him like she did with Max and want an open relationship, which Martin won't want and then he will realise he belongs with Stacey

Yeah that's true. I really hope they have Martin tell Stacey about the blackmail and come clean and sleeping with Ruby and then get back together. Why do the writers keep splitting them up when they work so well together? It's just annoying
I agree they never talk about past characters and like i said before, Martin never ever talks about his kids apart from Bex, who seems to be his favourite child. Hope is never seen i know she is away but still no mention. Arthur's heart storyline has gone and Lily is never mentioned anymore. We definitely need a Fowler Christmas 2020 with Stacey, Martin, the kids and the Slaters

Yeah that would have been great! Martin did have a bit where he was drunk all of the time but they didn't take it further :( Yeah i agree they were making them seem like this power couple and then broke them up which is really annoying. Hopefully they stay together and stay strong but with some storylines put in (no cheating though). I feel like every single couple on EastEnders has one of them cheating.
