I personally think that the current templates take up way too much room and it makes it look quite cluttered so having it moved to the infobox seems like a great compromise

@Walford, E20 i don't agree at all with what you just said. We all need to vote and have our say. You are not the top main admin. We all are equal so we should all have our say!

I don't think Walford E20 is claiming he's the main admin, but it is frustrating when you've started a project (that we all agreed was fine at the time) and now it's potentially being changed.

It would be like if we were to change that affairs section while it's in the process of being done.

In terms of the ideas I like the promo idea I don't think every year is needed personally if we were to go down that route, maybe just when a characters look has changed like in the template provided but I haven't got a big problem with that regardless so i'm happy with whatever the majority say.

In terms of the template for characters and biographies i personally think it's fine how it is and gives pleanty of context.

Overall it does seem like these are good changes, however I understand why some of the admins disagree with the changes, especially due to changes made to their own individual projects. I do think that the rating part looks cleaner as part of the infobox though.

The multiple promos in infoboxes is something I always wanted to do, but mostly to show the different actors who have played the character. I do think adding a different promo for every year is excessive, but most characters only get new promos every few years so it shouldn't be much of an issue. I also think this would be a good change because each tab adds extra context to show which year the photo was taken, which would explain why characters might look different in the show now due to being older or just having a different hairstyle like Denise, who had her last on-set promo released in 8 years ago and looks quite different now.

As for the research section, it does make more sense to have the list of appearances and gallery sections there but there will still be a 'See also' section of the page for characters such as Phil Mitchell who has lots of other pages listed in this section. Would these pages (such as Who Shot Phil?) also be listed in the research section of the infobox?

Obviously as admins/mods, you get to decide the rules which are put in place for the wiki so I would be happy to follow whatever is implemented by you guys, however, if it was up to, I would keep the 'See also' section with gallery pages and LOA, whilst having it also in the infobox - this ensures for familiarity and consistency within the wiki :)
